In your document or spreadsheet, order the text how it should appear on the label(s) and set the text to upper or lower case also in the manner that it should appear. Other font formatting or italics are not necessary but will be discussed with you directly.
Saving/Export Options For Graphics:
Adobe Illustrator: .ai, .eps, .tiff
Adobe InDesign: .indd
Quark Xpress: .qxd
Tips & Suggestions For Graphics:
- Whenever possible, save in an Encapsulated PostScript format (.eps).
- Use a data-compression program (ie. “ZIP” or “Stuff it”) to minimize file size.
- For line drawings, Vector files are best, as Bitmap files are hard to manipulate. When using Bitmap files, make sure to save at the highest resolution.
- Convert PC platform fonts to outlines or paths.
- Send text and graphics in separate files unless sending the complete formatted file in Illustrator or InDesign.
- For grayscale images, save at 300 dpi at final size.
- Include a layout for one label; our graphics department will do the rest.
- Samples of fonts and layout will be provided when not supplied.
Publisher, Freehand PageMaker & Corel Draw files are not acceptable.
.doc and .xls files are not acceptable for the supply of any graphic art.
